They helped us negotiate a price that I still think was fair. As Americans without residency in Italy we had several hurdles to jump, including opening a bank account in Lucca, obtaining Codici Fiscali, and keeping everything together until we could return to close the transaction. They were physically there at all those steps to walk us through, so that when we returned to Lucca to see the Notaio for the Closing Contract everything was ready to go. Buying a house in Italy can be a little scary for an American. I was grateful to have Benny and Isa there to help us make it happen.”
